Hi, I'm Erica, a photographer and videographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I grew up in Maine making photos and videos, detoured through an engineering degree, and found my footing in the marketing department at the ski resort where I grew up, Sugarloaf Mountain. There, I learned that the best creative work comes from genuine alignment with the place and brand you represent.
I specialize in action, event, portrait, and lifestyle product work, shooting both photo and video.

Why ‘Erica’s Empire’
It started as a creative outlet as somewhere to put the photos, the videos, the writing, the ideas that didn't have anywhere else to go. I was an engineer at the time. The empire was where the rest of me lived.
The name stuck because it still fits. An empire isn't finished. It expands, shifts, takes on new territory. Mine has grown from a personal outlet into a full creative practice that keeps me moving.
The intention underneath hasn't changed: capture the experiences that make this life worth paying attention to. For myself, for brands, for anyone who wants their story told well.
