Hi, I'm Erica, a photographer and videographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
I grew up in Maine making photos and videos, detoured through an engineering degree, and found my footing in the marketing department at Sugarloaf Mountain, where I learned that the best creative work comes from being genuinely aligned with the place and brand you represent. That lesson has shaped everything since.
I specialize in destination, action, event, portrait, and lifestyle product work, shooting both photo and video. Methodical by training, collaborative by nature, and specific about the kind of work I take on.

Why ‘Erica’s Empire’
The 'Empire' is symbolic of my journey. This domain started while I was still an engineer, as a creative outlet for sharing my photos, videos, writing, and whatever my latest passion project happened to be. The empire is forever growing and changing, yet the overarching intention remains the same: Sharing experiences that make this life special, whether it be personally, for a brand, or freelance. I find nothing more rewarding than creating community and empowering myself and others.
My skills in photography, videography, storytelling, community building, and more have been a constant story of growth and evolution, but the passion and drive have been there from day 1.
Every now and again, I question if 'Erica's Empire' is too strong of a name for what I am now using as my portfolio. I tend to come back to the same conclusion: Confidence is key, and an empire doesn’t get built in a day.
